Protected Species and Ecology Surveys in Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire

Welcome to Conservation Constructions Ltd an ecological consultancy based in Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire, from where we undertake ecological surveys throughout the UK.

We are an ethical business, offering cost effective advice without recourse to the constant requirement for additional surveys. We regularly work in and around Cambridge, Northampton, Peterborough, Wisbech, Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Ely, Kettering, Melton Mowbray and Market Harborough.

Services offered include:

  • protected species surveys (bats, great crested newts, etc.), and EPS licence applications
  • biodiversity/ecology surveys to support planning applications or provide site baseline data
  • scoping and phase 1 surveys - an overview of a site's ecological interest
  • aquatic surveys - rivers and ponds including habitat suitability indicies (HSI)
  • flora and woodland surveys
  • mitigation, conservation enhancement and wildlife management
  • non-native species surveys and management

We are perhaps best known for our bat problem solving and proven mitigation designs but we deal with all UK species.

"We work to a fixed price and we won’t waste your money"

Conservation Constructions was founded in 1980 by Maurice Webber, the company is staffed by trained ecologists who all hold the required Natural England/Scottish Natural Heritage Countryside Council for Wales survey licences for a variety of protected species, have considerable practical experience and are members of IEEM.
